January 24th, 2009 is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. This event marks the tragic anniversary of the Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton Supreme Court decisions that legalized abortion in the U.S. for any reason during any time of a pregnancy. A woman can make this decision without any input from the father of the baby. It is a tragic loss to think of the 50 million abortions in the U.S. since 1973. Worldwide, a baby is aborted every second. Please pause this Sunday and pray that God would end abortion.
