There’s a new bulletin board located near the secretary’s desk that will post various church & community activities, needs and lists of people who are serving in different areas within our church.  Please check it out.

Also, please give your things to be posted there to Lisl and she will post them and keep it organized.
(It's not just a "free for all to post whatever / whenever" kind of thing)

Prayers, Concerns and Praises!!!

We would love to pray for you/with you and also give thanks with you.  Please let the church office know if there's something you would like listed here in the blog.
(also please help me keep this up to date so we don't have really old news here, but we're kept current - Thanks!)

Many people in PBC knew our beloved Charlene Baumgarder who went to be with our Lord this past Tuesday. The funeral will be on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Ignacio Community church. Please pray for comfort for the entire Baumgarder family.

Connie Pringle
Connie is home!!!!  She's is feeling great.  The results of the surgery were better than expected (approximately 99% of tumor removed).... truly a miracle.  Thanks for all the flowers, cards, prayers and support during this time.

Ruth Haley
Larry, brother-in-law of Ruth Haley, has an aortic aneurysm that has needed repair for a long time. He had a scan yesterday morning so that a stent can be made specifically for his aorta. The main concern is that the doctors believe the aorta condition is bad enough now to warrant the possible damage to his kidneys from the contrast dye which he had to have. His operation has not been scheduled yet. Pray for the doctor's wisdom in Larry's condition. At this time, the tests have been done. and he is home from the hospital and doing well.

PRAISE REPORT:
John, son of Ruth Haley, is doing well in rehab. He has edema in his legs from the steroids, and hopefully this will subside. He is now committed to an alcohol-free future. Praise the Lord!

Carol Fleming
Carol Fleming is in good spirits after her surgery. She is having therapy in the hospital, and will continue the therapy when she goes home Monday, February 10th. She thanks everyone for their concern and prayers.

Deb & Doug Roberts
The mother of Deb Roberts was taken to the hospital last night after a blood test indicated a critically low hemoglobin count. Doctors believe there is a hemorrhage in the digestive tract, and if it is a bleeding ulcer, it could be cauterized as early as today. She received 2 units of blood overnight and will be having several tests done today. Deb requests prayers for mother's salvation/return to Christ (not sure which) and also for the role Doug and Deb should be playing at this point in time. Please pray for the doctor's wisdom and for good results from the tests, and for comfort for the family.
