This is an excerpt from the most recent update by our friends in Ouanaminthe, Haiti:
Hugues, Joe, and Jaccin returned last night from PaP at 3:00 a.m. with more refugees. Two of the patients have broken legs. From Hugues’ non-medical assessment, he believes one of the patients will need an amputation. With the ortho team here, that will be able to happen with quality medical care. Jaccin told me that the center of PaP is getting good assistance now, but those at the extremities of the city are not benefiting much. So they took our food, fuel, and supplies to Leogane, to the nursing school which is functioning as a medical facility now. They were very grateful for the partnership.
