Hopefully you all have received a letter regarding our upcoming Faith/Promise Sunday on June 28th. Faith/Promise is our new focus on raising funds to support our new building. It is our desire at Pagosa Bible Church to place our faith and trust in God. We all know that things are hard all around but we are called to trust and not to fear. “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you , surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” Isaiah 41:10. If we trust God and ask Him to put what to give on our hearts He will follow through.
I ask that you commit to praying for the next four weeks on what you should give. Faith/Promise is a gift to the Lord above your regular giving. This will take sacrifice and faith in God that He will give you the means to follow through with your faith/promise.
Many of us have never truly been dependant on the Lord because it sounds scary. The reality is that it is liberating. I ask that you do what the Lord has called you to do, trust Him.
