On a cold winter's night, what better entertainment than to join my PBC friends at a church to watch the "special family game night" movie, "The Apple Dumpling Gang" with Don Knotts, Tim Conway and Bill Bixby. I was totally captivated with this 1975 family-oriented movie about a confirmed California bachelor who inherits three cute orphans.
I enjoyed this delightful family movie and the kids of all ages seemed to be as fascinated with the fun script as I was watching Don Knotts...who wouldn't enjoy this man of comedy?
Oh yes, the popcorn machine, home made treats, hot cider and hot chocolate added a special touch to an evening of fun and laughter!
